Are you located in Australia or the US and where does the candy ship from?

We are located in the States! We import our candy from Australia and all orders ship from our shop/shipping depot in Florida.

I'm not sure about ordering online. Are my billing details secure?

Yes. We use a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection with 256-bit encryption on the pages where we record personal data and payment information. Look for the lock at the top of your browser in the address bar to indicate a secure connection.

How long will it take to receive my order?

All orders ship from our depot in 1-2 business days and in some cases the same day. Depending on the method you select at checkout, transit times can vary. All orders include tracking numbers to track your order. Listed below are normal transit times based on courier.

  • Free Shipping/USPS Priority Mail: 2-3 business days.
  • Economy Shipping: 3-5 business days.
  • UPS Ground: 2-6 business days.

All transit times are estimated and may take longer due to any unforeseen carrier circumstances beyond our control. International orders can vary greatly by location and we can't estimate the time of arrival. If you have any questions regarding shipping or transit times please feel free to contact us.

How does flat rate shipping work?

All orders over $35 are eligible for $5 flat rate shipping. Orders that select this option are sent UPS ground which can take 2-6 business days depending on your location.

What is Economy shipping?

You may have noticed we have an economy shipping option. This option takes 2-5 business days for delivery and is available for small orders under 335 grams.

Why can't I select Economy shipping?

The United States Post Office allows packages under a certain weight (335 grams) to be sent via First Class parcel mail. If the items in your cart are over this weight you will not be able to choose this as an option unfortunately.

I've ordered chocolate before online and it was melted and damaged when I received it. How do I know this won't happen when I order from Candy Of Oz?

We ship all chocolate products with insulated shipping material when you choose the Priority Mail shipping option and when you get free shipping during the summer months. If you order one bar or one hundred, your order will be packed in an insulated box to make sure your goods arrive in perfect condition.

I don't want to commit to a large order and just want to try a couple bars out, what do I do?

We have an Economy shipping options for very small orders. Make sure to not add more than 335 grams worth of items to your order and you'll be able to select Economy shipping at check out. All our products have the product weight listed on the product page to help you estimate your order weight.

I've been to Australia and loved a certain candy but I don't see it in your shop. Can you special order it for me?

Yes! Drop us a line and let us know what you're looking for and we will try to import it for you.

How do I know the candy I order will be fresh?

All products are guaranteed fresh with long use by dates. We don't like to eat stale candy and are pretty sure you don't want to either. Any product that is close (within 30 days) to the use by date will be specified on the individual product page.

Do you import and/or store your product under any guidelines?

Yes! All of our products are imported and stored according to United States FDA regulations. We follow strict rules and laws for the importation and sale of food products.

Why do the use by dates on the candy I ordered look weird?

The way dates are displayed in Australia are a bit different than America. In Australia they write the date with the day first followed by the month and year. For instance Christmas 2017 would be written: 25/12/2017.

Why are there so many typos on your website?

You may have noticed that we spell words a tad bit different. Flavour is one, colour is another. In Australian English we love our U's, similar to British English. Noticed something else? Please feel free to drop us a line and receive a 5% discount on your next order, we are sure to have overlooked a few things!
